Her extensive experience distinguishes her as an all-inclusive resource for the many facets of event planning. Clients have praised Ms. Magnini for her ability to create innovative solutions to meet a cadre of conference challenges. She is known for expecting the unexpected, meeting each task with freshness, creativity, and calmness. Mary was officially applauded for her capabilities when she received the 1999 DOT Minority Enterprise Development Award (MEDWeek) for her work with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Prior to creating MMI, Ms. Magnini was the Convention Manager for the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. During her seven years there, she planned and executed approximately 14-20 meetings per year. One of her most outstanding and impressive responsibilities was the successful coordination of the organization's 2,500-attendee national convention.

Ms. Magnini holds an Associates Degree in Business, and maintained Dean's List status through various undergraduate classes in Communications at George Mason University. The requirements for certification include pursuing continued education, and an academic exam. She is also a member of the Professional Convention Managers Association (PCMA) and is a member of their Professional Development committee.
